Easy installation Have your security system up and running in under an hour. The cameras included are completely wire-free. This means that there is absolutely no cabling involved to power them or connect them to the DVR. Simply attach the metal mount to any sturdy surface and lower the camera's base into the mount (you can also secure the camera directly to the mount to protect your camera from being stolen). Then insert the battery pack and your camera will be ready to connect.* The innovative quick release function of this battery power pack allows you to remove the battery without having to take your camera down from its mount.   *Wire-free cameras will already be paired to your DVR. Advanced motion detection Lorex wire-free security cameras use a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion. This built-in sensor detects heat from moving objects such as people, animals, or vehicles. Upon detection, the wire-free security camera will automatically wake up and start recording.

Crisp 1080p HD quality recordings Serious security requires clear details and accurate representations of important events. Lorex wire-free cameras will provide you both of these thanks to their 1080p HD recording resolution and an 88° wide angle lens. This lens, in comparison to wider angle lenses that stretch the field of view, will accurately represent real-life with an undistorted image. This full HD quality may end up being the difference you need when identifying vital details such as facial features.

Long lasting lithium-ion battery Each wire-free camera comes with a two-cell rechargeable lithium-ion battery Power Pack. These batteries are incredibly powerful, long lasting, and easy to charge thanks to the quick release function. In fact, they are the same kind of batteries used in electric cars. With these batteries you can expect up to four months before having to recharge them.*   *This average is based on around 4 minutes of recording per day. High traffic areas will decrease their longevity since the camera will turn on more often.

 

16GB of local storage This Lorex wire-free system includes a professional grade Digital Video Recorder (DVR) with a class-10 16GB microSD card. This will store around two months of motion events. If you require more storage, you can upgrade this microSD card to a 128GB card.

Thanks to the included DVR, a costly monthly service to store video data in the cloud is not necessary. You won't need to upgrade your internet plan either since you will also save on internet bandwidth and other internet charges. The only time you will need to use your internet bandwidth is if you need to access your security system remotely (i.e. live viewing or playback).
