4K security monitoring At the center of each security camera is a cutting edge 8MP image sensor. This sensor is capable of recording 4K video, which is especially important for security camera footage. 4K footage will ultimately provide you with the best chance to capture useable evidence should an incident ever occur.

Over 8 million pixels Your 4K resolution security cameras record at a pixel ratio of 3840 x 2160 for a total of 8,294,400 pixels - about four times the amount of a standard 1080p security camera. This higher number of pixels means sharper video and better digital enhancing. So smaller details and distinct features, such as facial features, will stay sharper for longer as you digitally zoom in further and further into the image.

Person and vehicle smart motion detection This system supports general motion detection from all cameras and will send push notification to your Lorex Home app. However, the E891AB cameras come with advanced person and vehicle detection that helps identify more important objects that enter the camera's field of view. Thanks to this innovative feature, you will only get a push notification to your Lorex Home app whenever a person or vehicle is detected by the E891AB cameras on your property which effectively reduces the number of unwanted false alerts caused by moving branches or animals. All recorded motion alerts can easily be reviewed by using the Smart Search function in the Lorex Home mobile app.

4× optical zoom security camera The six LNE8964AB IP security cameras include a unique zoom lens, otherwise known as a motorized varifocal lens, that enables remote customization of your viewing area (and focus). Focus on a small area in astonishing detail thanks to the 4× optical zoom or survey a larger scene for maximum coverage. These adjustments can be easily made with your Lorex NVR or through our free mobile apps.

Stop trespassers in their tracks with Smart Deterrence Super bright LEDs, a remotely triggered siren, and two-way audio make the six E891AB security cameras an extremely valuable asset to your IP security system. For example, the LED lights can be customized to always be on or triggered by motion. The remote-triggered siren is also designed to stop trespassers right in their tracks. When motion is detected within the sensor range, the system sends an alert to your Lorex Home app, allowing you to remotely access the camera and set off a loud siren to deter crime.

Listen-in Audio and Two-Way Talk All the cameras included in this bundle have a built-in microphone that allows for crystal-clear audio functionality. Listen-in audio recording will add a whole new dimension to your overall security monitoring, as it can provide additional details (like a voice) should an incident occur. HEVC/H.265 compression 4K data files usually take up a lot of storage space because of the high resolution. Fortunately, your cameras and NVR use cutting-edge HEVC (High Efficiency Video Compression, also referred to as H.265 or MPEG-H Part 2) technology to compress these video files without losing the 4K quality.

Regional motion zones There may be certain areas of your property that you want to keep an extra eye on, such as the front or back door. Using the NVR, you can program specific motion zones so that they are customized for heightened sensitivity (the amount of motion needed to register that movement) and threshold (how much motion is needed before creating a motion "event"). That way you can highlight important spots such as entranceways so that even the slightest motion will trigger the camera to start recording while other areas would require a higher level of motion in order for the camera to start recording.

Privacy masking In the event that the camera is facing specific areas that you absolutely do not want recorded, simply activate the privacy masking option. Use the NVR to draw a square around the spot(s) you don't want the camera to record, such as a pool or inside window, and they will be blacked-out in your video footage.
